Semester 1
Name of assignment - Elevator Pitch
Teacher- Mr. Adam |
For this assignment, students needed to make a slideshow pitching our senior project idea. Mine is on a food share, where everyone at school can come and take whatever snacks from a cart I made. Students can also put unwanted snacks in it for others to take. On Fridays, I plan on putting it by the front office for parents to have a chance to take anything.

Reflection
I would say this project shows Civic Literacy and Engagement skills due to it being school community based. I'm very proud of how neat and simple I was able to summarize my project idea so it would be easier in the future. If I had to redo this project, I would have chose a different slideshow background to one that fits the theme more, however, I did check every one on SlidesGo, and didn't see one I liked. A challenge I faced when making this presentation was the realization that I didn't have every part of my project planned out, especially if something didn't automatically go my way.
Name of assignment - Internship Presentation
Teacher- Mr. Adam |
For this assignment, students had to make a presentation regarding the summer internships that we planned during our junior year. My internship was with my mom, Rahel.

Reflection
As an intern, I saw growth in my Civic Literacy and Engagement, Information, Financial, Economic, and Business Literacy, and a little Global Awareness Skills. Most of what I did was digital, allowing me to see how to take notes and rate a patient's progress properly. If I had to redo this assignment, I would have tried to take more photos over the summer, but it was challenging because most of the work is confidential. I am very proud of this overall because of the perfect grade I got on it!
